Those aren't stripes, they are large blocks of different colors.
Unless you are going to keep the car for a long, long time, I would work with the factory stripe kits, or no stripes at all. Example: Ed's stripes are a good choice.

My opinion is that any stripes look bad on these cars, maybe the front fender stripes on the GS, but not sure of those either, depends on the color of the car & stripes
I've got the full length strips the same as Ed's and I love them. A couple of thoughts with your design.
1. The color of your vette is one of my favorites and I would cover less of it vs. more.
2. I think it's introducing too many colors to the cars exterior and the design seems bulky looking.
I'll add to this and say if that is CRM (color-blind here so hard for me to tell from that pic) I would suggest stripes like mine, but in a charcoal gray. That's about the only color that really looks good on the CRM.

Charcoal gray would look really nice on the OPs vette.
IMHO stripes can look good. GM put them on the 63 and 96 Grand Sport, the 2013 60th Anniversary and the 2009 GT1. I put a racing stripe on my 2010 Grand Sport because the 2 previous Grand Sport editions had them.
It's your car. Do what you want. It's like the GS fender stripes People put them on any model Corvette. I'd check out the Vettestripes website for examples or ideas on different styles if you decide to go with a stripe.
Could not match the color of your car in the center but I still think duel stripes look better. Though you can get away with either black or white, I would still go with a darker shade of grey.
Stripes yes, the way you have it laid out, no. Stripes should accent body lines, not completely overpower the primary color. Check out vettestripes.com for some great striping options.

This was not one that was in your selection, but IMO, I think the silver stripes always looked the best on a red Corvette. This is pretty hot with the chrome wheels, also my favorite.
