c6 color change
Post pics of your c6 if you changed the color to a non- OEM color.
Mine is black, but thinking about doing a color change next winter. trying to get ideas and do something different
Here is what it looks like now.

Honestly looks pretty darned good to me, as-is.
Not mine, granted; but, IIRC changing any Corvette's color rom what it was born with might count against it come time to sell.
Questions, are you doing prep & repaint yourself?
An experienced body/paint person?
How much $'s budgeted?
Car should be taken down pretty far, all trim/windows/weather stripping etc removed of course. Everything else thoroughly masked-off.
Now prime & then a host of other prep before color's shot.
Finally color, # of coats? Wet sanding?
Shoot clear.
Huge job IF it's to pop, look pro.
I'd guess if paying one could start at $5K & easily go up.
Looks bad ***, now.
How about new wheels?

It started out as a base model and has 90k miles on it. Now its supercharged, runs on E85, and converted to ZR1 body. Not selling, so resale value isn't an issue. being its technically still a base model, wouldn't hold that much value at this point anyway.
I am an estimator at a large bodyshop, so getting it painted... cost wise, will be as cheap as it can get.

It looks good, but I get why you would want to get away from black. Like they say, it's not a color choice it's a lifestyle.
In my opinion a car is a a machine, and machines should be muted tones. Gray, black, silver, etc. Not the color of flowers or women's panties. But red sure does look good on a C6.

Im not really looking for color change suggestions. Again, I want to change to a NON oem color. Something that pops and something different. That is why I requested pics from people that have done this or examples of how a c6 would look with alternate paint / wrap.

Being in the body shop business, you are no doubt aware that a successful color change is going to require near complete disassembley of the car. Really tough to pull off, especially on these newer cars. Any short cuts taken will be readily apparent to the practiced eye. I’ve done it a couple of times on older Vettes. Not sure I’d want to undertake it on anything newer than a C3. Well, maybe a C4. Hell, at my age I wouldn’t attempt it on a scale
model. Too much work!

Leave the color alone, looks great perhaps the change might be new interior color, perhaps red!

Now that's funny.
Value aside there's some respectable dough tied-up w/ it.
Beautiful & probably goes like snot.
And as I said looks damned good to me, but get-it w/ black.
Color suggestions?
What floats your boat?
Reading below you've access for reviewing probably ever color available, today.
Plus, want a non-stock color. Just C6 or every gen?
Essentially, wholesale A to Z.
Not only knows the business, knows the process.
I can't suggest anything, really.
Has to be your choice, for you.
Once color's picked you sure got it going from there on.
Usually everything BUT color's the challenge.
G/L, curious what you land on -- update thread.

Why not do a wrap instead? It's relatively reversible if/when the time comes.

What base color are you thinking of? It would sure help narrow down the possibilities. Some sort of blue, red, orange? Maybe a combination of colors? House of Kolor has some kick *** shades of blue and red.

I don't have a pic of this on a Vette, but this color in the sunlight is freaking amazing.
