Anyone own an automatic C6 w/Corsa Extremes and catless longtubes?
Currently my automatic 08 has a NPP exhaust and I will be installing catless longtube headers soon. I'm considering completing the exhaust with some Corsa Extremes as the NPP exhaust with longtubes has more of a raspy note to it. I had catless longtubes, a BTR stage 2 cam, and Corsa Extremes on my C5Z and drone was practically nonexistent. I was in hopes of getting some feedback if this is what I can expect similar on a C6 or is the drone highly more noticeable with the automatics?

I can chime in, my 11 Grand sport auto has longtubes, Catless x pipe, corsa extreme, TSP cam and has been tuned. The only drone I get is very low rpm on the hignway. Lets say im accelerating and I get onto the interstate and it shifts into 6th at about 60-65 mph (1100-1300 rpm) it has some pretty good drone to it until you get to say 72-75 mph. Once you get past that one little spot its not bad at all. The rest of the time it sounds absolutely amazing, While crusing on the highway at 75 you can hold a normal conversation or listen to music like normal.

Its not bad at all, I would highly suggest spending some money on them LOL. I wish the highways around here were 70+, here in NY its 55-65 but luckily I have lots of friends in various types of law enforcement so it helps with my 75mph all the time driving... you know to get past the drone

I just put on headers and catless mid. Had a Borla S on it with factory exhaust. Loved the sound, then heard the Borla with headers. Too loud for my tastes. Got npp axle back. Using a vacuum pump to control them. It has two modes, loud, and HOA approved.

So no Corsa but I do have the NPP with catless mids and long tubes... I would say wait and listen to it first, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If your still not happy go to the Corsa.
