Default C-6 Frame Paint Color ??

Does anyone have an idea what the frame color is for a 2007 base car. It is a steel frame and appears to be a very dark olive drab green when viewed under a bright LED light, it is not black. The frame has some scratches and assembly scars and is still attached to the body. Has anyone had any experience with spot painting a steel frame? Thanks!

Why would you want to detail the frame that no one can see.?

I've used semi-flat black on my 08 frame and it seems to match

very well.

Semi-gloss / Semi Flat?

I polish the aluminum suspension front and rear and no one cane see them, but I know they are polished. Retired and I have the time and energy.

I know how much time it takes to polish the suspension and I commend you. When I did mine I started with a #40 flap wheel to remove the casting flashing, then went to #80 flap wheel, #320 3" air sanding disk, #400, #600, 1000, #1200, 2000, #2500, #3000. After that put everything on the buffing wheel. Took about 200 hours but it looks like chrome now. I re-polish every year and reseal to keep it fresh looking.

The car is a show car but still driven on weekends and to shows. I would like to tweak the frame paint but don't know the exact color. The best I can tell it is a very dark olive drab which I may need to custom mix using trial and error till I get it right.

Maybe scrape a couple of flakes off and got to a auto paint store and they can scan it and you might get lucky for a match.
