Melting Slicks
Replaced my worn-out factory Goodyears at 17,500 with them. Now at 46,500 they still have tread and run well. I expect to replace them in about 5,000 miles so they will have lasted almost double that of the Goodyears. Will buy them again.

'11 GS here. I have about 35,000 miles on mine. They've been perfect.
A non-aggressive alignment (pfadt street or base specs) are the tire's friend.

Good point. In my prior post I should have specified that I also the the Pfadt "street" alignment specs and gave them to my Chevy dealer who did an alignment the day I got the new tires. The Pfadt "street" alignment provides for much longer tire life than the aggressive factory settings.

I have had them on my GS for about 2 years now. I have been very happy with them; they provide great traction and don't hydroplane in the least little bit of wet pavement like the OEM Goodyears did. I will replace with these same tires or look at the new Michelin all season runflats when the time comes. I don't track the car and don't drive aggressively very often so the low temperature compound in the Michelins is attractive to me.

The GY runcraps that came on my 13 GS were shot at 14,000 miles. I bought the Bridgestone Potenza RFT's and applied the Pfadt street alignment. The Potenza's have almost 30,000 miles on them and they look like they will last another 10,000 - 15,000 miles. The Pfadt alignment has made a huge difference. The wear is even across all four tires.

Don't know if this will work, but go to the Birdgestone site, put in your car, see if it's listed for your car. Then, ask/tell Costco to order them. Many tires, Costco doesn't have online or list, but they will order them if you ask. I've done similar things w. tires from Costco (not for the Vette tho).

Any comparisons of Potenza vs Firestone RFT?
FWIW I am happy with design, stance, traction, mileage of Firestone.
On my second set.
But I am a street car driver not a racer or track rat.

They have been on my Z since I bought it. They are quiet, ride great, plenty of grip. Darn good tires. Mine have 10,000 miles on them and they are just like they were new. I may actually go with Michelin's when I decide to replace these mainly because I hear they are better but I have no complaints with the Bridgestones.

Great Tires
I had them on my 99 C5 MN6 and I have them now for a couple of years on my 08 Coupe MN6 and they are great.
Almost feel like non run flats to me!

I put almost 30,000 miles on tires tires; 2012 Grandsport. Went to replace them this year they are quite a bit more expensive then Michelins now. When I bought them 3 years ago they were a lot cheaper than the Michelins. I liked the tires but went with Michelins this time due to price.

I'm with headers and a tune, and the Potenza Pole Position RFs are the best gripping for rear straight line traction on my car, comparing Gen2 Goodyears, Cooper Zeons, Nitto Invos and Michelin Pilot Sport RFs.
The Potenzas also handled very well with spirited driving and intermediate HDPE driving too. Also very good with temp swings and rain .
Z06 drivers liking them got me to try them early on, when I wore out my original GEN2 Goodyears on my 2011 GS
