For many years, the European corvette crowd has been wanting a US-style full-function 4 tail light system. Radioflyer Innovations is testing a prototype that would give just that function:
The setup is based on the "eagle eye" LED tail lights and Incorporates a bright Amber LED ring around the center reflector and would be incorporated on all 4 tail lights. This allowed each light to have parking/brake/signal and proper reflector.
Countries requiring rear-facing fog lights can use our dual-function reverse/Fog light LED bulb.

The Guinea Pig Client for the prototype has requested a modified GM euro conversion harness specifically for this application. Pictures should be available in a couple of weeks.
I should have the finished product on Monday. It may take a few weeks before we see it on-vehicle, but I will have more pictures using the custom-made harness.

Just to be clear ... will this mod work on US-spec cars and give them amber turns?

However here's what you're looking at:
1) LED tail lights with Amber turn signal on all 4 (some splicing required with included t-taps): $525/set + shipping
2) GM Euro harness with plug-and-play sockets for above setup + provisions for rear-facing fog lights = $180 (no additional shipping)

It’s a shame that the main ring isn’t used as like a switchback so it flashes Amber then returns to red as normal.
Red/Amber switchback LEDs are rare and I would have to make custom circuit boards. It's a project I would like to pursue, but would need sufficient demand to justify costs.
