Default Time for new tires

Currently running Nitto Invo's which I like a lot on my 2005 C6, but looking for a change. Anyone running Continental Extreme Contact Sports? If so, what do you think of them? Also looking at the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2 (not A/S) & Firestone Indy 500's.....anything to say on those?

I just got new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's two months ago. I am very happy with them. They are smooth, quiet, handle well have a great tread pattern and sidewall. They are priced right and are rated # 1 on Tirerack. They are not Run Flats.

To each their own but I would HAVE to have run flats.

I had the Conti's on my CTS - good tires, no complaints on that platform. I'm running Michelin Pilot Super Sports non-runflats, and they're easily the best tire I've ever driven, but I know they demand a bit of a premium over the other options you listed.

I'm running the Continentals and love them. This is my first vette and it came with them so I have little to compare them to but they seem to provide exceptional traction. I drive in the rain all the time and in cold weather and have had no issues. I hear so many on the forum talk about the dangers of wet or cold weather which is what makes me think these tires must be good. The only time the rear gets loose is when I want it to regardless of the weather and then it's easy to bring it back under control.

Cheaper best tires are the FireHawks(680ish).. Mid price are the Continental Extreme Contact Sports(840ish), which I have on my car and love them. Then if you got the money go for the MPSS(1100).

I just got the Continentals last week! I love the tire so far. So smooth and quiet with no trammel like the garbage Goodyear run craps. I have the 19 and 20” setup on a widebody.

I think the Conti's are the way to go. While the MPSS4 are prob a little better.. they coast way to much.

I have the Conti's. Been on for about 6k miles so far and 1 track day. They are a great tire (I had the Conti DW's on a previous car) for dry and wet grip and they wear much better than the older DW's did.

I will more than likely be getting them again when the time comes.

Good choice, I have the Michelin Super Sports in Z06 size and happy with the quieter ride, awesome in turning and dissatisfied with straight line traction
