2005 wont start after tune
I had a mail order tune done and got it all back togather yesterday. The car will not start. When you hit the start button all the dash lights and everything goes out. after a few seconds it all comes back on and says low fuel when there is plenty of gas in it. Two weeks ago before I sent this stuff off the car was running fine.Any ideas

Yup ... I have an idea.
I don't think it is your mail-order tune. I think you need a new battery.

Get it load tested to be sure, but it is likely the battery or maybe the connections at the battery posts or at the Starter. If you have headers, the starter solenoid connector bakelite can get brittle and break off.

put a battery in yesterday. cables are clean. no headers. The car was cranking and running fine 2 weeks ago. its been sitting on jack stands in my garage. It makes no sense

I've had the low fuel thing after a flash too... it's because the flash clears out the MPG file and it has to relearn with some driving.
Does it crank and not start or just not even turn over?

It will not turn over.just clicks and everything goes out for a few sec and comes back on.

Do you have another vehicle handy to jump from? At least that would eliminate a weak or dead battery.

Tried jumping it off. Still same results. hit the start button it clicks everything goes off for a sec then everything comes back on and says low fuel service fuel system. Did not do any of this until I put the pcm back on. 2 weeks ago before I removed the pcm it ran perfect. Cranked great now nothing.

If yes, get a hold of the person that flashed the ECM for you with a the new tune.
If no, then what is "put it back together" all about?

yes I had ecs flash it and when I put it back in thats when the problems started

I know it would be one heck of a coincidence, but I'd pull and check the starter. If you hear it clicking, it means it's getting power but not spinning to crank the motor. Good luck.

The Service fuel system and gauge reading LOW is a known issue. I actually am currently dealing with it. I have no idea how this would relate to the battery though, so I cant be of much more help. Here is one of many threads in regards to this issue:

Can you get into ACC mode? If so change the DIC to the voltage readout. It should read 12.4(+-.1) if is is lower than that then something (ground wire, starter wire, ECU connection, etc...) is loose and the ECU isn't seeing the full charge and won't start the car.

Is this a M6 or an AUTO? Ive heard of very rare instances where a mail away tune can cause this on the M6 cars.. something to do with the clutch pedal calibration, or indication to relay the message for the car to start. I would ask the person who tuned it if this could be an issue, again, only if its an M6....
