Went to the local watering hole for tacos and beer in the next valley over. New barmaid, young. WTF everybody is young.
The big deal tonight: A local farmer shot somebody's dog that was in his cow pasture. LOL, a great bar debate. Woman dog-owner was there, has only lived there 6 years and was up against a local family that has been there forever, one of them is the town supervisor and is running for county sheriff; his nephew was the farmer who shot the dog. It was reminiscent of the Dukes of Hazzard or something -- one of the locals had his ('69-'70?) 440 GTX there tonight, although it isn't orange. He actually made more sense than anybody else. He warned the woman: Don't start a war with this family by getting lawyers or whatever involved.
There is an age-compatible woman I see there a lot, don't really know her too well, but I know she's itching for a ride in the Vette. But wow, is she tough to look at.
Air conditioning wasn't on in the bar and it was on the warm side. Had the top off the Vette and did that really feel good on the way home!

The Falls? You were going to do that last summer, right? Never happened?

I put the repaired Bose woofers back in the doors today after I dropped off my Ram R/T for service and walked back 5 miles all before 8 am. Not bad for being 64. No protective covers to shield the back from water gathering at the back side of speaker and the adhesive lets go. I used shoe goo and we are rocking again. If the rain stays away the GS is going for a ride along the beach. Have a great weekend everyone no matter what you are doing. Smile a lot it makes them wonder what you are up to.

Senility: I've decided to practice doing it so I can ease into it and be a bit familiar with the ups and downs when it actually hits. I'll keep you posted (if I can remember)

Okay, now that I think about it, you were asking about coming up this summer. One year, five years, ten years, they all go by so fast it's hard to keep track.

1. Swapped black gear shift **** and boot from ebony to cashmere and ebony style that I got at a ridiculous super price on eBay from Rollingautomotive.
2. Added a two-cup holder on side of console I got from Southern Car Parts, doesn't need screws to install.
