Hi everyone, New here but a great site I can tell. So Im in the market for a used Corvette. Been looking a researching about 1 month and have settled on a 2007, 2008 C6 LT1. I there anything I should be cautious about when looking at these years. The reason for the 2007 is the 6.0 The reason for the 2008 6.2 Ltr. The 2008 I have dialed in on has NPP and all the bells and whistles. Heads up, 6 speed auto, super clean but miles are a bit high. What can I expect around these miles at 61,500? What specific maintenance issues who’ll I watch out for? Should I have the trans flushed and filter changed? Special oil for engine? Thanks in advanced.

RPO for the option packages is 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, 4LT for all model years except 2005.
Engine designations are LS2 for the 5.96L (364 cu. in.), LS3 for the 6.16L (376 cu. in.).
Here's what the 2008 owner's manual says for maintenance.

Well, I didn't have a single problem until well over 100,000 miles.
Purely an anecdotal post.

Before you purchase check the harmonic balancer for excessive wobble and check the oil pan for leaks. These are good reliable cars. The 3LT has a good package with most of the bells and whistles. The 1LT is the lowest on the options. Best of luck!

take a look in the c6 For Sale section of this forum. there are plenty of low mileage, reasonably priced c6s there. you may find what you're looking for, good luck!

Personally, because it is your first Vette, or at least first C6, I would not worry about the miles, and would get what I like, at a decent price. I have known two instances of people buying their first C6 looking for a very specific, low-mileage car. Both spent top bucks to get what they wanted. One person wound up not liking it, and lost his butt when he sold it. The other person decided he wanted a GS after he bought the base car, and he also took a whippin' when he sold it to buy the GS.
The miles don't matter much. The level of care it has been given means more than miles, to me.
