I hate these kind of price forums....since I buy high.....LOL. In Jan/Feb '18 I started looking for a '12-13 GS 3LT Nav W/Mag Ride, NPP, MANUAL / VERT / CRM or Red ONLY. Try that, 3 in the U.S.A. Found 1 within 1000 miles, (1 in Ga $44,500., 1 in Fl $42,999) and the other on the Far North Coast of Cal, asking $53K w/1 owner/18k mi.
After a month of dealing on the phone and having my Nephew that lives there go by and check it out, I bought it for low 40's.
I know I paid high, but the big deal is the manual trans in a Vert for me. Not many of them and they KNOW it.!!

OP, So pricing is all about "are you Happy" I believe anything upper 30's would be fine!

Overpriced. The 1LT does NOT have the heads up display and, IMO, that option is one of the crown jewels of the Corvette. For the money you are looking to spend, and the depressed Corvette sales market, I would either ask for a lower price, or walk away.

The HUD is just too damned cool to pass up, especially for the money you are going to spend.

Car sounds good. Like the miles and one owner. Ask the dealer for service records, warranty and car fax. Great if they would certify car but probably not based on age. I have lost several cars over $500 to $1K that I wish I had to do over. Condition is everything and worth paying for. Nice to put car on rack and check underbody Maybe dealer will do some maintenance for you like an oil change, brake and trans fluid change based on age of car? Good luck.

just bought a 2012 centennial from a local dealer. Check KBB for a price guide to see where they are price wise. dealers tend to stick close to book prices.

I have been using autotrader within a 300 mile radius of my location, central Missouri, and I do not find any vehicles for the prices I see posted that appear to be in Texas. That 2011 would be closer to $38k to &39k. Better deals there because there are more to chose from?

I know this isn't the color you are looking for, I offer this as an example what's available out there.

https://www.schrierautomotive.com/us...47ef4623ed.htm

This is a 3LT, 6 speed for $35.500.00 and it comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty worth about $4k in itself. I bought our 2011 GS from them and they are a great group to work with.

A lifetime power train warranty on a pre-owned performance based car?? Interesting to be sure. How big is the "Fine Print"?....

Did those guys negotiate off price any?

I'm finding a lot of private party guys are "firm" on their price. I've found a couple, even on here that look good but they're similar or in some cases more expensive then dealers.

I bought a similar car, 2012 1lt with 25k miles on it about 9 months ago. Paid 32,500. I was ok with the deal but would not have paid anymore than that. The way these cars depreciate is incredible. I imagine if I went to trade it in now I'd get around 23-24k at the most.
If it's what you want and you can get it for around 33k I would go for it. I personally waited to find a 1lt as I had no need for the extras (other than the NPP which was one of the few options mine came with).

They dropped $500.00 off the price. A good friend who sells cars told me not to expect any deals on used cars. The internet has revolutionized it to the point the buyers shop so much they know what a car should go for and the competition between dealers is so fierce that you are either in that price ballpark or you aren't.

The warranty is powertrain, all internally lubricated parts, meaning you can put headers, cold air intake, etc. on it. Has a $100.00 deductible per occurance/problem, NOT PER VISIT, so if it doesn't get fixed right the first time, no additional charges to you. Any ASC certified mechanic can do the work, so your options are limitless on where you want to take it. I can't say enough how much better I felt buying a our car with a warranty on it.

These guys deal in low mileage, high quality cars. Can't hurt to give them a call. If you are interested, let me know and I will put you in touch with the salesman we used, he was fantastic.

Red Corvette is just very cliche and I've owned a Torch Red Z06...I'd consider it I suppose but would much prefer Blue or White.

I've had an auto trader search setup for 2010-2013 GS with 6MT since November. Prices are all over the map and it doesn't tell you actual transaction prices.

I bought a white GS, and if that is what you are looking for, it's worth the time and effort to find one.

Just plan your trip to include a really good restaurant in that area, and take someone with you to share the experience. That way, no deal doesn't mean it was a wasted trip. Call it an adventure.
