Default Polished/Coated Headers?

Im looking at JBA 6821S and 36821S headers. There is about a $225 difference and all I see is one is polished and ceramic coated, the other is raw SS.
Would you suggest the coating for the extra $ ?
thanks

Yes I would pop for the ceramic coated headers because they help with heat dissipation & I would also pop for either Kooks or American Racing Headers brands, don't go cheap

The headers I had on my 99Z28 were cheap stainless Ebay headers. After 10 years they still looked like new, FWIW.

I just put a set of their ceramic coated, 4-2-1 LT’s on my ZO6 w/catted x-pipe and couldn’t be happier. well under 1k on eBay. after shutting the engine down within 15 minutes you can lay your hand on the headers. they cool really quickly...

fwiw, I can park my car and turn the floor fan on and touch my non-coated exhaust after 15 mins and be fine

Consider insulating starter & any other electrical that's close.

What I did when I replaced the plug wires with MSD wires I polished the aluminum sleeves and reinstalled them with the new wire boots. Works perfect and looks nice and it was free. No issues with the starter, maybe because it has a reflective outside (Stainless or Aluminum?) that deflects the heat. No issues with any wiring. Insulating would be an extra measure of protection.
