Just finished a 2500 mile trip, averaged 24.7. 13 A6, can't expect much better than that.
If you have poor mileage its probably mostly in town driving , heavy right foot, or worn plugs/wires.

It was AC weather in PA today. 85* and sunny!! Took a two hour ride...........with the windows DOWN! No AC for me. I'm loving it.

speedy08 .... Look at your username ... it's "speedy08"
Slow down a little and you will get better gas mileage.
Your AC is not draining your gas ... it's your right foot

I've never had any noticeable difference in MPG whether the AC was on or not.

Looks like you're average is around 19mpg. About normal for stop and go driving in town.
I have about 3 mile commute, stop at the bank every morning to make the deposit, my mileage drops to about 15mpg.
Interstate running 80-85, (when I'm in Mexico) average close to 25.

AC for a V8 probably uses less "noticeable" gas than a 4cyl. the V8 at idle is making so much torque that the idle doesnt get affected nearly as much.

Speedy,
Your fuel economy isn't great, but I doubt it's all because of the A/C. 14.6 liters is roughly 3.85 U.S. gallons, and 100 km is 62 miles. So, that means you are getting about 16.1 mpg, which is on the low side unless it's all stop and go city driving. I'd wager your driving habits contribute to that number more so than the A/C compressor drag.
Every gas/diesel powered vehicle loses a little economy when you turn on an A/C compressor. The Corvette probably is less affected than most. As a reference my Grand Sport gets about 21mpg in city driving in the Phoenix summer.
Most Corvette owners aren't really concerned with trying to wring the last mpg out of the car. Drive it how you like, be cool and comfortable, and enjoy it. Having that performance at your right foot is worth the cost of fuel.

Nope, it makes very little difference if the AC is on or off on my car.

Many cars get better mileage with the AC on and the windows closed than with the AC off and the windows open. Also, lot of vehicles get worse mileage in cold weather because of cold start enrichment and higher driveline losses due to higher fluid viscosity at low temps. So overall you should get the best mileage in spring and fall when it's not to hot and not too cool.

I live in S Florida, and the A/C is never off, with our temperature's all year round, and don't see any difference in MPG.
