Default B92 Hood

Does anyone know if the B92 Hood on the C6 is something that can be ordered from GM or Bought from a vendor? I searched and couldn't find one for sale. Thanks in advance. This is the hood that cam optional on the c6 z07 package. Basically a ZR1 hood WITHOUT The see though cut out.

Sort of hard to find. I'm not sure you can buy from GM now. I found mine on ebay. Callaway used to have some but I suspect that source has dried up now that they are doing C7 s mostly now. Good luck , it's a super nice hood and looks great on the C6s.

Looks like it might still be available and not outrageously expensive either:

Jabcat, you need to stop posting pictures of your car. It looks amazing and is about the only car on here that males me wish I had a different color. It just looks better every time I see it. The B92 hood and black lights just set it off perfectly.

That’s very kinda both of you. If I ever get my interior, it’ll be even better 😎 I’ve got a couple little things exterior-wise in the works but that’s pretty much done.

To the OP the difficulty you may have is finding an online parts store that will ship it to you. I was lucky that the online gm parts store I purchased from had the lowest price & was only 20 min from me so I could pick it up. It arrived from Michigan 5 days after I ordered it. Driving home with it strapped to the cross rails on my Outlander was a scary experience. Then to the paint shop in the back of my Jeep. I had the top off the Jeep & the hood is so light it almost flew out of the Jeep

I dropped it off at 9 am & they had it painted and ready for pick up at 5 pm. Lifetime warranty on the paint & did a perfect job.

I have to agree. Jabcat, I stare at your car and debate purchasing this hood over and over.
