Already have Kooks and dyno tuned with NPP so that's done except the tune will have to be done again with a supercharger.
Andy at A&A tells me I'll put down right at 525-550 RWHP with just that setup, and that would be A-OK with me
I worry about the over heating living here in AZ thou, cant have that

Add a Dewitt's radiator to the install. That will take care of any overheating concerns.

Yeah Ed, they have a 3" thick rad as an extra that I would get for sure, has an oil & trans cooler with it. I don't know, I want it but then I sure dont want to open a can of worms, car runs perfectly as is and as you know they are fairly quick, but that desire for quicker is always there If I could have it done locally it would happen but having to go to Vegas is a hang up for me

well the mustang is 8 years newer than my vette and it's also just a grand sport.

i was tossing around the idea of the edelbrock e-force but i can't justify 8200 dollars for it...

You'll probably want to pull the heads to replace the lifters anyway. A set of our TFS-255 heads and our 230@.050 cam (Tfs-32603001) go together like peanut butter and jelly. Naturally aspirated, you'll be well over 500whp and the cam tunes out nicely. The stock intake works well. No fuss-no bother. The power is always there. Your car is much lighter and there won't be much that you come up against that can beat it.

the research i've done is the LS3 heads are quite good. tons of people putting them on gen 3 6.0's and a cam getting 500-550hp.

guys thinking back it was not a 2018 looks like the 2018 has quad exhaust tips. this one did not

Oh man! So, you were looking at the exhaust? How did you like those tail lights? Time for a TVS.

The low 12s 5.0 need a lot of options. The Base car alone costs 35k... A10 is $1600, 301A is $2000, PP1 is $4000...Mag Ride is $1700.. thats 45k. Might as well get a new C7 for not much more. And we all know good C7 runs stock are high 11s.. some people have even gotten 11.3s

I had a 2018 Mustang GT M6 as a rental car last well, while it didn't feel as torquey or SOTP fast as the Vette the car is definitely fast! The autos are even faster.

The TFS package isnt a bad solution. OP if you dont want to dig into the motor leave it be.

Theres always someone faster. Ran a guy, a debadged 4 door nothing looking bimmer yrs ago; I guarantee that was an honest 10 sec car.
You just never know & the judge doesnt give a chit.

a base will go low 12's with drag radials only and a good driver easily.

Right but you wrote that someone would need auto, pp....45k MSRP to go low 12s which is an incorrect statement

Its not... the fastest a manual 18 Gt has gone is 12.6... The auto needs the DragMode in the 301A..The PP1 tires.. and magride. You are not getting low 12s on the stock 235 all season tires it comes with without the PP1. The DragMode/Magride is also on alll the auto 18s that have run low 12s..

Reread my post. I said a base with drag radials will go low 12s.
