Default 2013 Grand Sport 60th Anniversary check engine light

My 2013 60th Anniversary Grand Sport check engine light starting flashing today, it has 14650 miles on it and this is the first time it has happened. I filled it up with gas and made sure the cap was on right. It seems to be missing when I put it in drive and accelerating down the road. It flashes, doesn't just stay on, and moments later it will go off and start flashing again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Check the spark plug wires? I think flashing means its misfiring. Maybe a boot is slipping off a plug?

Flashing CEL means an emission system problem.
Check your gas cap again. could also be loose plug wire, MAF connector.

Auto stores can pull codes for you.

The car is basically new and stays in the garage under a cover.

For your future reference, a flashing CEL typically means multiple misfires and you should not continue driving the car. You can easily destroy the catalytic converters if you do.

I had a plug wire fall off a coil on my '13 GS about 2 months ago. Of note, I also had the same thing happen to my brand new 6.2L GMC Sierra about 2 months after I bought it.

My Corvette was missing and the check engine light was coming on periodically, I took the left side cover off and it was the first thing I saw, the plug wire from the plug was off. Problem solved thanks to this Corvette Forum and the suggestion.
