You should look up the price of a top frame first, ouch!

Grabbed the Griots DA for the first time and the Corvette was my patient. We both survived!!

Thanks for the compliment on my photo at Mount Rushmore.............. just wanted to make certain that you also have "checked in" at the 427 convertible topic?

Just need last 4 of VIN, and engine builder info. to be added to the list there.

Nice looking Anniversary Edition you have too!

Spent the last six months looking for a Monterey Red Metallic Convertible. At last one showed up and we drove 2 hours south to pick it up. In three weeks we have already logged 800 miles cruising central Florida. Here is Tweetie, also known as Miss Earnhardt, for her heavy accelerator foot, at Lake Sumter Landing. Somehow we always end up at a seafood restaurant. Here is a video of the boys of The Villages Corvette Club converging on Lake Sumter Landing for a Vette show. Easy to see how popular verts are, and also the popularity of Monterey Red. https://video.search.yahoo.com/searc...c&action=click

Earlier this year I bought the 11 Grand Sport and sold my Monterey red 06. Love both of them.

Nothing like a 'vert on the Tail of the Dragon & Cherohala Skyway. We did the loop yesterday (Tuesday) on a beautiful day. Extremely quiet from 10:00 - 11:00 and probably the least amount of cars we have ever seen outside of the off-season. No idea why. It was sweet! We could even take photos by the statue. Still have to order the professional photos from the Dragon run.

I agree. I always park mine with the top up and windows up. Better to keep the top material fully stretched to avoid wrinkle patterns setting in.

Default Rear partition issue with fix

Saw this post in C6 general and it has the replacement part for repair as well as a DIY option to help. This sticky is a great place for this type of info.
