Default Wind blocker

[QUOTE=mjg1200;1599248276]At the beach on the coast hwy in Northern California last Saturday beautiful day.
Sharp GS. I see you’re using the OEM GM wind blocker. How’s that working out as opposed to the plexiglass after market that I see online so much?

This one was with car when I bought it last November it works pretty good but you cant leave it in when you bring the top up. I might switch to a plexiglass one eventually.

I have a 2006 base model with a manual transmission. Snow or heat doesn't seem to adversely affect the lid.

Anyone have this problem? My local mechanic said it is probably due to something electronic - aka, expensive.
i just got my ‘06 a few days ago and noticed that issue. It opens fine once I’ve hit the interior release or fob button twice.

Beautiful Vette. Can you tell me which Michelins you have and what sizes?

I have the same issue with my '07, I notice it more when it's cooler out, I'm thinking the pistons may be showing their age.

My Velocity Yellow 2006 C6 Z51 Vert, First day on the road in 2019! A gorgeous 72 degree sunny day! The April showers rinsed the winter road grime off nicely.
Road trip today to Saganaw, Mi. and then on to Columbus, Ohio to visit our darling 6 month old granddaughter who we hadn’t seen since Christmas.

Hey thanks! I’m not sure about the brake duct grills as they were in mine when I bought it.

The brake duct chrome grill has a little bit of a lip as you can see in this photo but it doesn’t lip completely over the edge.
