I had the same Syndrome a few weeks ago, just about to install a ZR1 style rear spoiler or give my best shot!

It appears I have the ZO6/Grandsport style brake light spoiler, will not fit, I have to purchase the optional brake light housing ( $99.00 ) to replace the current one so the Spoiler will fit over it. I,m sure that will apply to you if you plan to install one on your Grand Sport...i'll let you know how it turns out.
