I was there with the GT. I was parked up front with the club cars again.
It was before 6 am so the lot was fairly empty still. Once summer kicks in and the snowbirds leave, the lot is less insanity. But Nov to April is pretty crazy.
I know the owners of a few of the cars above. The guy with the Riv has a few really cool cars he alternates. He has two very nice Jaguars, an X300 and an X308.
I've worked (or collaborated) with the guy who owns the red hoodless C6. I was supercharging the same time he was. I did a vented hood, he was going to, but didn't. Once it gets to 100*, he leaves the hood off until October. It's a very fast LS2, he's cammed with meth.
I've talked to the guy with the Cobra Coupe. I built a FF Roadster so I usually meet up with the Cobra guys that show. The really cool cobra is the aluminum bodied one with the V12. But I didn't see him today.
The black 58/59 Vette is a kit car, body sitting on a C5 chassis drive train and interior.

His car sounded bad ***, haven't heard a car sound that good for a while, everyone within earshot was looking around to see what it was.

Yes it does sound bad a$$ed. I can remember over a year ago, or maybe it was two, before I knew him, before he FIed. But with the cam, when I was a lowly stock base. He pulled in and people started running toward him. That doesn't happen too often in that crowd.
