Need Immediate Help Please!!
Just got home, got out of the car, walked away and it beeped to acknowledge locking. A few minutes later I looked out the window and noticed the mirror lights on. I went outside and there's no doors open the mirror buttons aren't pressed the lights are just on and they won't go off. I started the car and they stayed on. This is going drain my batter dead for sure if I can't figure this out fast. I need some wisdom from the geniuses here. I'm stumped.

I'm always bumping into those light switches when I adjust my radar detector and then I will be in the garage and noticed the map light on I just open the door and turn it off when you close the door the lights will stay on but then and then go off after a few seconds

There's a light dimmer switch to the left of your steering wheel on the dash that is also a push button. When pushed in, it will turn on/off your mirror lights; this button commonly gets pressed accidently when getting out of the vehicle or when detailing it (that's when I've done it). Press it in again and the light should go off as normal

OK, everyone can stop panicking now. Crisis averted. Not sure how but they just went out. I better go out and make sure I still have power.

Also note that when you press it again to get those map lights to go off, they won't go off until you get out of the car and close the door.

I have had this problem a couple of times. Apparently I have hit the button to the left of the steering wheel. I also recycle the mirror light switches on and off and this seems to correct the problem.

Your knee hit the light switch getting out of the car. If you push it back in it will stay in and the lights will time out. We will now add your name to the LONG list of people who have and continue to do this. Ive got my car 13 years and I still do it. I have developed a habit of checking the car after I finish for the day.
