Does anyone know the part number for a 2012 GS Alternator? Bearing is making some noise and would rather take care of before I have to. Is it the High Output one or standard? Any help would be appreciated. Put on the Tech section but had no response. I wanted to order one.

Get a new alternator.

Hence trying to pull the OEM Valeo unit apart to change the bearing is next to impossible without destroying it, since the front bearing is installed from the inside.


As for the replacement, since the OEM valeo unit only puts out at 14amps at idle, the replacement alternator you want is the Billet 170amp 6 phase alternator, which put out about 45amp at idle isntead (more than enough amps to keep up with the A/C blasting at a stop light, without the battery going into a draw start like the OEM alternator isntead).
