There's been a lot of changes made since these were first introduced. All plug and play. Everything we asked for was doable with a simple fix.
Now:
DRL's were suppose to be the"L" hockey stick. Maybe, but need to run a harness to a fuse to work at full brightness or something.
DRL "L" hockey stick will dim or go out when turn signals are used. Again maybe.
DRL "L" hockey stick and Amber turn signals are both DRL's.
Everyone seemed to want the "L" to be DRL and Amber signals to be a separate stand alone function either fully or sequential.
Will need to turn Stalk on steering column to operate properly. AUTO light control will not simply turn on lights as needed.
Sorry, I may have some of this wrong but it's hard to keep up with over 300 posts about these lights and how they are going to work and we'll all be super happy with them.
I may be jumping the gun on these issues, but it would have been nice if these were actually being fixed as easily as we were told they could be.
Is there any recourse in the purchase of these from Umnitza if they have yet to ship? Just wondering.

Holy H*ll.. way too many posts to try and come to some definitive answers. Ok here goes. So the l shaped light now comes that it operates as the DRL and the amber light only comes on when the blinkers are on. But everything I'm reading says the l shaped light is only at 50% brightness in this setting. Is this the only option? Is there a fix to this yet?

a) L shape is 100% bright with drl harness.
it is also 100% bright with secondary harness
b) it dimmed with signal when we installed and with parking or drl on.
will show vid tomorrow

I think there is a lot of confusion because some people haven't yet installed it and have questions, some people have installed it and have other questions, and some people are just curious. So with the sheer amount of responses, questions, and only now about 6 installs total, there will be some confusion that sort of piles onto itself
The only way to solve it is what hopefully will happen today, we will take a full video of all the parts with an explanation of each part. If that doesn't solve it, nothing will

When we initially did the install last Monday - with videos - the DRL was full bright with our harness but it would do the same with the provided harness from the factory.

Got mine installed last night! For those who already installed theirs with the provided harness, did you notice a delay in the left and right hockey stick when switching from headlights ON to headlights OFF? Currently, the LH hockey stick will turn on about a half a second sooner than the RH side. Enough to be noticeable.

So some comments, and then the video will be done.
1) DRL is daytime visible from very far away when in 100% mode using the fused pnp included harness.
2) You still have to manually disable the "AUTO" setting DRL using this harness but if you do, the "L" goes to 100% brightness immediately.
3) "L" brightness will always be 50% if your parking light, turn signal, hazard, headlight, high beam, or DRL (factory orange turn signals) are one.
--
You can visibly see even more contrast in person between 50% and 100% mode. - Your lights should always switch within .5 seconds from 50% to 100%.
Todd used the "TRANS" fuse = 1 and it works fine, it works on his car, it's not a recommended fuse on any of the BMWs, Dodge, Mercedes, or similar cars because it may throw fault codes but it works on his setup. A/C has been a perfectly good fuse as an ACC (accessory) option so I'd recommend staying with fuse 15 for that.
I will be posting a video of this shortly.
