C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
I just came here for the comments. When I saw "door dog", this came to mind.

Guys, we need to be careful of not becoming intolerant of things we don't agree with. Especially when it comes to car customization. Have you ever seen a lime green wrapped Corvette? Its out there. Chrome wheels? Gigantic wings (e.g., C7 ZR1)? Sheep skin seat covers? All of these are turn-offs to a lot of people.
One reason I've always loved sports cars is that owners customize them. It makes them a kind of 'art form'. And that gigantic wing on the back? Well, in some situations, it really has a function.
Look on Amazon and the SED website (read the blogs) and you'll see LOTS of positive reviews for the door dog. These are owners who use it and like it. Did you read those comments and blogs before rendering your opinion? Or have you tried a door dog yourself? If not, then if you're just shooting insults and derision from the hip you may be doing yourself (and others) a disservice.
Stay classy my friends.
Just sayin'...

I think it would have been far better marketing to follow the post with a comment, "Here is a link to what users are saying about this product". That might have shorted out some of the negatives you are reading.
Good luck with your endeavor.

Meh, not really my thing, but I am glad that the aftermarket is supporting our cars.

I actually think this would be useful for every new passenger that I have ever had in the car. Usually, I have to tell them how to open the door from both the outside and the inside.
But they are only sold in pairs it seems, and $40 for paint other than black seems a bit unreasonable.
