It looks like the amber sticks and L light are always on. When you use turn signal L lights dim. Parking brake turns L lights full brightness. Is that about right? Why does parking brake make L light full bright? This makes no sense.

Cole, why are the L light dim? You never said this would be the case. Why are they dim? How can this be fixed? I really don't like it.

Looking great!!

2 hours is not bad at all for your first time doing it! Seems like the first time doing anything car related always takes at least twice what it should for me.

The lights dimming when the turn signal is on is normal operation for them.
But don't worry! There is an easy way around this which is to use the included fuse tap harness. The fuse tap harness will plug right into the DRL plugs from the headlights and will then insert into fuse #6 in under-hood fuse box.

I believe that there will also be a harness available soon that will make them function identically to the C7 units.

Where/How are you guys mounting the little black box?

edit - nevermind, drilled 2 small holes under the headlights and mounted it underneath using 2 zip ties

I used double sided tape and stuck it in the light cavity out of the way

Just realized I'm posting in the for sale section... Should be over here. I was tempted to use double sided tape but questioned if heat would affect them over time.

They're in and I love em.

I used a self tapping screw and attached it to the bottom of the area that holds the headlight.

I didn't know if there were any resistors to worry about heat so I wanted it out if the way.

Its kind of tough to get a picture of anything behind the wheel liner.

These lights are BRIGHT. When I'm driving down the Hwy they fully illuminate the road signs ahead. I'm sure the other drivers are saying 'What the f*** is behind me!' As I'm running in the left lane I've never seen cars get out of the way so fast.

Got them this afternoon and just got done installing. These things are very high quality for being aftermarket. The pictures online and even the videos do not do these justice. That's why I'm only uploading 1 picture because everyone else has posted enough. Honestly, you have to see it in person to really appreciate it. This is exactly what the C6 needed to stay current.

As for the issues with DRLs and hockey sticks and whatever, these things work exactly as advertised. Just use the fuse tap and you will be good to go. I went with the sequential flash for the ambers and I couldn't be happier with how everything came out.

One bonus that hadn't been mentioned before, when you activate the alarm on your FOB, the ambers light up twice. If you choose the sequential mode it looks pretty cool as you walk away.

Last thing, they are super bright. The high beams are sick they're so bright. Also, with the headlights, hockey sticks, and fog lamps on the car looks even more menacing than before, it looks freaking awesome.

Overall, if you're looking to update your car and you're looking for a mod that gives you bang for the buck, this is definitely one you should consider.
