I received my order today, and Cole from Vette Lights was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks, Cole.

Here is a question to anyone who has installed these so far, is anyone else having the orange LED’s still lighting up as their DRL’s while the the headlights are set to auto? I am getting my white L LEDs for DRL but the orange ones are staying on as well like they did when they were stock? I know this can be overridden but clicking the headlight switch down but I don’t really wanna do that every time.

That's how these lights are made to work. The amber turn signals are the DRL and the provided harness does not fix that. What the harness does is make the white L leds always lit. These are now being called DRLs by some people, but they really aren't. You have to click the headlight switch to make it how you like.

I also noticed a bit of mis-information earlier in the thread. The harness does not make the white L lit at 100% full time. It just makes it lit full time. The L still dims to 50% any time the headlight or turn signal bulbs are lit.

cole did mention there may be a new harness coming out that addresses these issues. so in the near future we may have a way to fix these shortcomings

Is this a defect in production? How can we always have the L lights at %100?

I wouldnt say its a defect its just the engineering of trying to make the c6 headlight harness do something it wasnt designed for, hence the likely need to swap out to new harnesses at some later point so the c6 can truly mimic the c7 headlight.

Has anyone looked into whether or not some wires can be moved around or anything?

Radioflyer, CF vendor has made a PnP harness to make the lights operate just like the C7 headlights. He had to order supplies for mass production and we should know more next week. You can do a search and find his thread to see videomak

I just placed an order from your website. It was between you and the retrofit source. But after reading all the positive reviews that everyone from the forum has given you. As well as providing us with a 10% off coupon, I was sold as a customer.

Any word on the tail lights? I saw where you hooked up Street Speed 717 with LED tail lights for grandpa.

Tail lights are expected to arrive in 2-3 weeks along with another couple hundred sets of headlights. Just sold the last sets so let the backorder begin!

But yes! Mike went with the dark smoke eagle eyes for grandpa!

Below is a quick comparison between OEM (left) to new (right)

Here are some pictures in direct sunlight. This pic right here WITH the extra harness provided and I turned OFF the drl on the stalk.

Headlights on. The white LEDs dim very little. It's still very visible during the day.

This picture below, I didn't install the extra harness. So when you turn on the car and drive this IS the DRL with no extra harness.

What extra harness are you referring to? I only received one harness.

I consider the harness that they give you, the one that taps into the fuse box as an extra. I only consider that extra simply because it's not "needed" for everything to function.
