Car looks awesome! Just curious, how did the screw in the rear tire fix go? Was it patched or did you have to replace the tire?

I was able to make it to a rest area on the NJ Turnpike. The gas station was able to put a plug in it so I could make it home. Need to take it back to a local shop to see if they can patch it up or I may need to get a new tire. Kind of lucky since I had nothing with me in the event that this would happen. Michelin run flats.

Be very careful trying to repair a RF tire. Some tire companies say you can, some say you can't. I got rid of the RF tires and carry a mini compressor, plug kit, jack and puck, and some simple hand tools in the LR storage cubby.

Thanks for the heads up....I had a kit on my C5. I was thinking of bringing it with me for the ride home but, was not sure with TSA. Had to fly out to MD to pick up the car.

"Sir, what are these brown Twizzlers for ?"
If you do get rid of the RF tires you will be amazed how much smoother and quieter the ride is. When I switched it was like a completely different car.
