Bose or non Bose?
If bose, then you can tap the bose connector to check to see if the problem is the amps output, or the radios output. Hence even on the bose system, the radio is putting out a standard speaker output to the amp, and you can check the radio speaker output at the bose amp connector, as well as the amp output as well.
If none Bose, then you need to get to the radio to tap the speaker output on the radio connector to check for an output signals. This will tell you if its the radio, or maybe a connector/wire problem down line towards the speakers isntead.
If the radio the problem, then could be as simple as the pot for the volume **** going south that needs to be replaced, to the entire current side of the radio output going out in the radio isntead.

Burning Brakes
It would be good time to get rid of the stock system and replace it. I have the Nav Bose system, and I’m thinking about replacing it so I can have a backup camera and more up to date features.
