My new (to me) 07
Friends, Just bought an 07... My first Corvette. If you dont mind, I will be bombarding you with questions !! Thanks in advance!

I am about 10 days into ownership myself. ('07 Z06). Where did you find the car? Do you plan to drive it occasionally or as a DD? I've been researching wash, wax, detail info to ensure maximum shine/protection.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I love the Monterey Red. Ive been looking for awhile for one in this color or Lemans blue.
Previous owner took great care of it and added several upgrades that are pretty cool such as Corsa pipes.
Sneal46 to answer your question, It wont be a daily driver. The company I work for gives me a car to conmute back and forth, etc. So, It will be my evening and week end driver.
I had my eyes on a friend's C3 that his mother has owned since new. 46,000 and in perfect condition. Im not a mechanic or even close to it; so, I was afraid to having to repair a 40 year old car every other month. I think the C6 is definitely the best bang for the money. So, I went with this 07. No regrets at all. For me, this was the right choice.

Congratulations, nice car! Also have a 2007 into 2nd year of ownership. These C6 Corvettes are amazing and the most exciting cars I've driven since the muscle cars of the 60's. Enjoy.
