Not if they repair it, but it will have tainted autocheck, carfax and any other vehicle history report. They would have to declare a total loss in order for the title to change status. (As far as I know)

It was declared a total loss.... Insurance is offering a low settlement @ $25.1k. They are basing this off of transaction data from JD Powers. I dont buy cars through JD Powers... Looking on the major websites I cannot replace my car for 25.1k. Its an 09 base with 45k miles, 3lt with magnetic ride. I think I should be asking 29k gathered from what the same cars are going from on auto trader etc... Am I wrong?
