Default "Prime Cooling" aluminum radiator on Amazon

Anyone ever use one of these? Looks like a nice piece, but you never know.

Has built in tranny cooler too. 4 rows... looks great, but no experience with this.

It’s over twice the core thickness of my spearco....I’m sure it will fit but might be a tight one.

I have one similar just kinda sitting in my Shopping List. Maybe one day I'll take the plunge and post a review but not quite yet. Would be interested in anyone has already purchased one of these and see how well they hold up.

I think I'd rather just go with a Dewitt's and avoid all of the modifications. Dewitt's is a straight R&R, not to mention a tried and true proven product. I never can understand how or why people cheap out when buying parts for a Corvette.

Yet you're doing massive modifications to try and fit what is most likely a very cheaply made Chinese knock-off that you don't even know will work or last just to save a few bucks. Sorry, but I can't understand how anyone would put that much effort into trying to make something work instead of going with what has been already proven to work. It's no different than buying 87 octane just to save a few bucks, but it's your car, you do what you want. I'll never cheap out on mine.

3 row and 4 row cores are a china gimmick Click Here for more

If I started a group purchase with a discount would anyone be interested.

Tom, when I am ready to move forward with an A&A supercharger, a Dewitt's radiator will be part of my install package. I've seen too much positive proof of product to ever want to go with anything less, both with C5 and C6 installs.

I put one in mine, and the temps on rt66 in MO were 97 today, at least according to my car. No problem at all with coolant temps, even going through small towns in traffic. I didn't change out the fan either. The rad dropped right in - it was a perfect fit. We'll see what happens in AZ in a few days, but I'm sure the rad can handle it.

I know several people are interested in the mishimoto radiator coming out soon so there’s definitely interest out there for people wanting to upgrade. I’ve got a manual GS, what do you carry or recommend for it? Thanks!

I installed a dewitts direct fit a few months back for my ls2. No doubt it's doing a significantly better job then the stock radiator but the price is steep. I wasn't aware of Prime when I bought mine. I am very interested in seeing how your project turns out. Can't argue with the price.

DeWitts has every option and some that GM didn't offer. It really comes down to how many internal coolers you want or need that determines the model. The radiators are all the same just the cooler options changes from none, to one, or two.
Two row core (1.0" wide tubes)
  • Direct Fit Upgrade-No modifications
  • No gaskets or plastic tanks
  • Billet aluminum end tanks with no fabrication seams
  • 7-plate (TOC & EOC) coolers where applicable
  • Factory Quick connect transmission fittings included
  • 100% assembled, brazed, and welded in USA
  • Proven design over 10 years running
Here is the page that calls out the applications
DeWitts C6 Direct Fit

Normally DeWitts only has one sale per year because of a stocking dealer network but if there was enough interest in a group purchase (say 12-15 people) I could talk to them about making a special summer offer to C6ers. I sold the company three years ago and retired so this is no longer my decision but I can go to bat for y'all.

Oh, and there all shortened versions (cut down) available for those needing extra blower clearance over the top. Here
