I think we need to hear more from one or both of these guys because one of them is mistaken.
My lense purchase is on hold now until I know for sure where the bad lenses came from
OP?
RL?
I did not read it that way. RL responded he did not sell the set referenced in post #14, not the OP (that is why he quoted post #14).

OP did buy his bad lenses from RL Sebring

You are right. Thanks for pointing that out.
But the bad lenses shown in the OP are from RL Sebring. Still need to know what happened there before I buy.

The OP did, but not the guy that RL quoted.

OP did not buy "bad" lens from me, he bought lens from me. Something happened to them a year later. As stated I'll be sending them to my manufacturer for analysis. Since I have 1000 sets produced at a time I highly doubt it a lens problem since there have been no other problems reported from his batch. You can rest assured I'll post up the results when they are available.

Since others are trying to act all inocent, I'll just leave this here...

This is correct. RLSebring has been serving this market niche very well for a long time.

Conveniently left out from the "missive" above is the quickness of the reply and offer to replace under warranty. We stand behind our product 100% - furthermore, we've had just over 3000+ of these lenses sold, they are sold by well know companies and are the only ones that are DOT approved. Can we have a bad issue with 1 or 2 lenses, sure, it happens, but it's not likely. Even without knowing what the other possible factors are, we will replace under warranty.

that said, Erithostenes has chosen to go with a set of headlights, we would have been more than happy to offer "E" a further discount on the set given the issue he had.
