1.01 g
I have a stock 2013 GS Coupe with newer Michelin Sport A/S + tires. I was cruising in the mountains today and found a decreasing radius hairpin turn that I I had a clear view of.whole turn so I decided to push it a little. I know the rating was high but once I hit the straight I brought up the highest recorded G function on the HUD and it said 1.01g. I was about to take a picture of it but then I realized I left my phone at the place where I had the clear bra repaired (it was peeling back some in one area).. Shortly after the straight I pulled another .87g on another turn.
Those are better numbers than what I pulled with Michelin non run flat Super Sport tires on it about 5 years ago, definitely higher than the Goodyear OEM run craps. I'm sure summer tires are better but those are excellent numbers for an all season tire that you can drive in any temp (it was about 75 in the mountains today).

I've seen 1.11 g on mine & I just have the Cooper Zeon RS3 tires which are one of the cheapest available in GS sizes. They were brand new when I bought the car, expected to hate them but other than zero traction when cold they have been pretty good. Next spring I'll spring for some Pilot Sport 4S and find out what she'll really do.

Going over 1G always feels good. A couple of members have reported maxing out the meter if you have the guts. The last one I remember was Sky High when he started a thread on it.

It isn't hard to max out the OEM G-Meter. The tighter the turn the easier. I have a bunch of round-a-bouts in my neighborhood, I can easily peg the meter on the tighter ones, but the larger the radius the harder it gets because of speed, grip, physics, etc...

What does it peg at? The link above doesn't work.
