Default C6 bluetooth / Pal 2

Hey all,
I was hoping someone could point me to a thread or give me some help. I have ordered a Kinivo BTC 450 to install into my C6. I have the pal2 already set up for an old iPhone 5 but need to set it up for an android phone using the BTC 450. I have been on Ray Kawal's website but I am a little confused. Do I plug the BTC 450 into the pal 2 unit or do I remove the pal 2, purchase a Aux Input Harness and install that in place of the one going to the xm reciver?
My car is a 2007 c6
I have a factory radio with an xm receiver but I don't use the subscription (so I can use the pal2)

Any help is much appreciated!
Joe

I connected this little deal into my PAL 1. https://aluratek.com/30-pin-bluetooth-audio-receiver. Works awesome. Won't do phone calls but I'm happy with it.

My 2006 Corvette Coupe I purchased back in mid December 2017 has the Pal 2 set up in it with a lead coming into the console compartment with the older type large plug for the earlier iPods. Works very well with my old iPod 2 Touch loaded with my iTunes on it. I have been kicking around what I should do whether to swap the GPS Radio out for a aftermarket or not. I really would like to have Apple Car Play in my radio like many of the later cars which would handle everything I want. Don't get me wrong so far I have no complaints with the stock GPS Radio that came with the car. The sound coming out of the Bose Speakers is much better then many of the stereos I have owned in other cars. My problem is I don't spend enough time in this car because I also own 3 other Vette's, my Street Rod and other Classic Cars. Would be nice if someone came out with a adapter of some sort that would bring Apple Car Play to my stock 2006 GPS Radio. That would be the ultimate for me to still retain the Factory appearance. It is starting to bother me after much research the last few days about making a move to swap out the factory radio for a aftermarket. Don't get me wrong if I had the stock radio non-GPS I would have no problem doing it. There are some really good options out there. I guess maybe I would miss the Corvette Insignia coming up on the screen when starting the car and not having the Radio on.

:I recently purchased an aux harness from Ray and installed it. I then plugged a patch cable between my iPhone 6 Plus. I now have an iPhone X so I will purchase the Kinivo 450 and plug it into the aux harness. I also bought the fuse jumper to make the aux power in the console switched instead of always hot. If you buy the fuse jumper with the harness you’ll save $5 on shipping. Good luck.

Bonnell thanks for the info. I will run with that.
I bought the Kinivo on Amazon for 35.99 & free shipping.
I had it in two days, it looks like an nice little unit and the reviews are good too.

Thanks again!

I bought the Kawal auxiliary harness and plugged my Kinovo into it. No Pal. It works perfectly.
