I was just in the garage, to make sure my beer was cold. Vette is ok.

I think it's a fantastic looking car and believe the C2 is the best looking car ever. But in terms of modern cars, the C6 wins hands down (except maybe for an Aston Martin.) But I never did this. Sure, I looked it over when I was done washing/waxing it and really enjoyed walking up to it in a parking lot but there's no way I'd ever stand there and stare at it. It's a car. A tool. One I like for sure but it's just a car. And I never call cars "she". It's an *it*. "She" is my wife or the cat and I like them both a lot more than any car I ever owned!

I'll admit it, it's true, I do, sometimes in the winter I go out there just to sit it.

Old thread. Asked a few months ago. Some of us like driving our Vette, looking at it occasionally to be sure everything looks okay. I don't spend that kind of money just to look at something.

I will sit out in the garage sometimes at night and smoke a cigar.

Yup ... I stare at my Corvette usually while enjoying that cigar and a good drink of 'branch water'.

Yeah, guilty.
Actually took a pic yesterday on my way back into the garage after getting the mail.

All the time. I drive it any chance I get but if say you're in for the night and the wife went to bed.. yeah I'll spend some time in the garage.

I love spending time out in the garage. The only thing I like better is driving. If the weather is lousy, a cold beer and cigar in the garage is a great way to spend time.

Default Nite. Honey, I love you!

When I first got the Vette, I would open the garage door on my way to bed, and loudly announce "good night honey, I love you". My wife would say "Awww I love you too, hey are you talking to the car?"

She understands, but my mistress has to stay in the garage!

My garage is a complete mess, but I find reasons to go out there at least 2 or 3 times a night. I have been known to enjoy a cigar and a beer or whiskey while staring at or wiping down my cars..... great therapy!

If I go to the garage, it's for a purpose other than staring at vehicles. l might look at them on my way by though.
