Default rubbing noise.

2010 LS3/C6; Just purchased car....love it! Except for, loud "rubbing noise" coming from front corners where hardtop and windshield meet. Tried a small strip of rubber weather striping on bothe sides; only minimal help. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Start by pulling the roof to make sure that the hardware on the roof is tight.

From there, here is the long version of O-rings, dialectical grease on the seals.contact areas, and installing C clips on the lock rollers to make sure you don't get noise from the roof.

I don't know what you mean by rubbing noise. Like a cracking?

Try adding larger O rings to the two pins I did that and it helped with some cracking noise

How long do these repairs usually last?

This is standard maintenance. Should be done yearly or as needed.
