New Stripes on my GS w/ a few pics
So a couple weeks ago I asked opinions on brushed (matte) stripes vs. gloss stripes. Decided on the gloss and here's how it turned out! Doesn't even look like the same car. I love it!

Those are certainly "different" than the usual stripe package.

OP I doubt you'll get many fans on here but rather than discuss personal opinions, I'm curious if you were just completely unconcerned with whether this would affect resale.

Stripes will come off without damaging paint, so IF I ever sell, the new owner can do what they wish.

Just my opinion, but I think you could use a few more things to pull the look together...window tint, black (background) headlights, gloss black wheels.

Not for me but it’s not mine - as long as you love it

Yours look amazing!! I'm glad you went with the gloss, and I really think you should stick with the chrome wheels to go with the silver in the stripes. I bought my stripes from Mike too, and also had them installed by him personally. Mine were a custom cut that included the 1/4 inch outside stripe added to the typical stripe, as well as a hand-crafted section to accommodate the extended ZR1 spoiler. I dropped it off early Saturday morning and picked it up on Sunday. He told me he'd worked on it all day, and had stayed up until 1:30 in the morning to get it done for me to pick it up at the agreed upon time of Sunday morning. I have absolutely no complaints, and I give him props every chance I get. I ended up taking 2nd place in a car show later that afternoon, and it was primarily because of the stripes and the under hood parts. I hadn't done my interior at that time; it was still bone stock other than leather door handle wraps and Lloyd's mats.

Why the two identical threads on this started 7 minutes apart?

Funny thing though, I've been following another thread on rear exhaust cover plates and a member went nuclear when someone put the Jake emblem on his, saying how stupid it looked! Wait till he sees this! Nice job. Would look pretty cool on my machine silver.
