Did You Wrap or Paint Your Top/Halo ??
Really liking the shiny black top/halo combo after seeing a photo in the for sale section of a SSB Z06.
Talked with the Tek Wrap guy in town and the price is pretty friendly IMO, his shop was really slick & clean.
He uses either 3m or Avery-Dennison film, your choice, so thinking about doing it next week. So how did you guys do yours, paint of wrap ?? I'm leaning heavy to the wrap for obvious reasons but like to see what others think
Thanks

I had mine wrapped with the 3M carbon fibre style material.
Targa top after having it wrapped with 3M 1080 Carbon Fibre print. Work was done by MediaWorks in Jacksonville, Florida.

I feel like I'm the only one around here who's not on the "black halo" train.. I just don't like how it looks. The halo adds some "oomf" to the roof, and with it being black it looks like a convertible to me

Melting Slicks
I wrapped mine at first then after I lost and had to replace my roof I had them both painted, much cleaner look imho.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
I went with paint. I had stripes for years and they needed replacing every year...even the targa would get stone chips in it. Mine is a DD.

Drifting
I had mine painted. I tried for months to find someone that would wrap it with no luck. I was going to drive to see jbc1995fb's guy when I just decided to paint it.

With the wrap I didn't have to remove the halo. I'm not sure if painting requires its removal.

Mine is currently wrapped. Would much prefer paint. I'll be taking off both pieces to have them painted. Keep in mind that vinyl will only last for so long depending upon environment. Flat horizontal surfaces are especially susceptible to degradation. Just a matter of time before it has to be redone, which might/might not be of concern to most.

Had the car 2 years this month, miles driven are 4000 mi
But I'm old and enjoy garage time with it, and of course spending mod money
Owner of the shop said it should out last "me" OMG.
I will look at warranty of both film makers thou.
