Default ***Pre-Sale: "Correct-Function" harness for Bi-LED headlights ***

The new Bi-LED headlights for the C6 look awesome, but it would be great if they had the correct light function. From other vendors, the white "hockey stick" LEDs only come with the headlights/parking lights and don't shut off for turn signals. Also the flash-to-pass feature is lost if the headlights are not turned on. No worries, Radioflyer Innovations has the answer to this problem:

Exclusive from Radioflyer Innovations is a plug-and-play harness that fixes all these issues. With our harness:

- The White LED "Hockey stick" functions as the DRL and remains on with the headlights. It will shut off for turn signal on the signaling side only and resume when signal is turned off.
- The Flash-to-Pass feature functions with headlights off or on. (daytime actives the LED headlight AND high beam pattern simultaneously)
- BONUS special (side) effect. - in daytime, when the car is put in gear, the turn signals flash once, then the white DRLs turn on. This is particularly cool when the turn signal sequencing function of these headlights are enabled.

This is accomplished with a combination of creative wiring and custom solid-state circuitry in a compact plug-and-play harness. The load resistor mounts to an existing hole in the sub-frame using supplied stainless steel hardware. (No need for silly harnesses, fuse taps or adding switches to your dash)

PRE SALE - These harnesses are currently set to be in stock for shipping in mid September. The Pre-Sale price will remain effective until the first batch is in stock.

IMPORTANT: If you are purchasing your C6 Bi-LED headlights from us, this circuitry is built into your headlight and you will not need this harness.

I appreciate you making these. I was so excited about these and was definitely going to make a purchase, but $250 is so much higher than I was expecting this to cost unfortunately. Thanks anyways RFI!

I agree the cost is much higher than I was hoping for (although George had warned me it was likely to negate any savings of having purchased from another vendor) but I have ordered one in any case since I really want the functionality these provide. Really appreciate Radio Flyer doing this. Can't wait to get it!

Wowza! Had been debating on ordering these headlights, but was waiting on this harness to come out. That's going to be a hard no from me at that price.

However, I really appreciate RF taking the time to make these, its an awesome thing for the community to have available assuming you have the money to try these out!

How about a sale or group purchase on the LED switchback harness?

This price seems pretty extreme. Even though I was looking forward to these I'm going to have to pass.

Thanks for offering this. I've placed an order for one. I've been holding off installing my headlights until others smarter the me (or more patient) have figured out all the little tricks.

There has been a delay with getting the parts to the MFG for assembly. TO make up for this, I will be building the first orders by hand to expedite shipping. Expect existing orders to ship out early next week.

Figured I'd revive this thread since there seems to be some issues with the Morimoto harness not working quite the way everybody had expected.

George (Radio Flyer) sent me one of his harnesses a month or so ago and it works great. There is a separate harness for each side. Its about a foot long. Two plugs ... one into the headlight and other into the OEM harness. No need for the fuse tap that came with the Gen1 Morimoto lights. It works exactly as advertised. White hockey stick is the DRL. Ambers are the turns/flasher. White hockey stick goes out when amber comes one, then comes back on when amber goes off. Flash to pass works without the low-beams being on. No hyper flash. Exactly like the C7 works. No fuse tap. Everything is tucked under the headlight so you never see anything. The harness and plugs are first-class parts.

It might cost a bit more than the "fix" harness, but it works.

Appreciate this bump. Spoke with George today. There’s a bit more to this harness than the other one just received, a different design with an additional resistor.

After experiencing issues with the other not functioning when installed per expectation set in another thread, then seeing it with the supposed corrected setup still not function per expectation set (which this one does = L for DRL, flash to pass, same side L elimination when blinker activated), think this one is the best solution.

AND ON SALE THIS WEEK FOR $100, IN STOCK!

No brainer at that price IMO. Took one off his hands, shipped today.

Follow up on this harness. Received Wednesday promptly after ordering. Quick install. Works exactly as stated duplicating C7 headlights functionality!

Given the wait many have endured for other solutions, at Black Friday sale price point, IMO these are the way to go.

Can you install the harness without removing the headlights? Thanks in advance.

Absolutely. Just jack up the car and remove the retaining pins on the access panel in front of the wheel. There's also a 10mm nut on the bottom. Remove that and you'll have all the room you need to access the harness. It's also suggested that you remove the fog light to get easy access to mount the load resistor to the sub-frame. Installation is nearly identical to our White DRL harness (See installation guide below)

Ordered these on the Black Friday sale for $100. Works just like the video in the OP. Taking the fog lights out really helped. After the install, I adjusted the headlights as they were really out of adjustment. Still need to tweak them a little. Totally satisfied.
