A guy on Facebook is offering a 2007 with LS2 and Automatic 6 speed with paddleshift. I thought the A6 didn't appear till 2008 with LS3 motor. Can anyone here confirm it is legitimate Motor/trans combo for a 2007 model. Thanks

The A6 became available in 2006. Although it is called a paddle shift, don't think for one minute you are getting a true duel clutch paddle shift transmission. GM did not put much thought into their so called paddle shift transmission. Actually the paddles are way to small, and both do the exact same thing. either one is used to down shift and to up shift you will need to press a little extension with a plus sign on it just above the steering wheel.
There is a mod for this however and it is a simple fix.

A6 with paddle shift introduced in 2006 with LS2 engine. Shift quality was improved in 2007, still LS2 powered and in 2008 again with further improvement to the shift quality and now powered by the LS3.
