Ok, so I'm not very observant....anyone know what this is?
Now that I have had my '13 GS for over two months, I'm embarrassed to state that I just noticed this on the drivers side pillar (go ahead, make fun of me) - but have no idea what it is.
Can anyone educate me on this? - apparently my old eyes didn't even notice it until today. Guess I was too busy being excited to own a Vette after 6 years of not owning one.
Thanks!

Is there a matching one on the other side?
If there is, then it's either an AC vent or a stereo tweeter speaker.

Thanks, guys!!
Yes, it is only on the drivers side and now makes sense.
Keep forgetting that the tech in this car is now going on 6 years old - as comparison, my '17 Honda Ridgeline touchscreen blows it away .

Does anybody know if this microphone can be used/incorporated into an aftermarket headunit?

When I did my aftermarket head unit, I ran the new microphone up the pillar and placed it right next to the factory one. It was easy to do and pretty much goes unnoticed, so in hindsight it wasn't a big deal.

Melting Slicks
They started making the C6 in 2005 and barely changed anything over it's 8 years of production so now in 2018 the tech is 13 years old and it wasn't exactly state of the art in 2005.

I'm guessing any recent C6 buyer agrees.
