Has anyone come up with a solution to protect the 2010 Grand Sports nose from dips and speed bumps ???
Thanks

Solution? Take it slowly, very slow. The only complaint I had with my '10 GS was the fact that I was dragging the front end over every wrinkle in the road. With these cars you have to take it very easy entering/exiting driveways, etc. And, always, always on an angle. Otherwise, a great car.

As mentioned you can adjust the height by playing around with the stock bolts. They look like this:

This will only protect your nose from getting brown.

Ignore the riffraff. Yes, there are several options:

Alternately, you could buy a curb sensor.

Whats special about your car that its so low??? Mods . ?

I have the same car lowered with coilovers and I hardly ever scrap or rub anything.
Only on driveways. No problem with speed bumps. At all.

just before u hit the speed bump, 25mph, goose the gas pedal lightly and what happens next will surprise you. It lifts the front end up to you will not scrape the splitter or air dam. Works for me every time!!

I just usually turn around and go get my truck.

With speed bumps, I drive over them at an angle and don't have a huge problem. With dips I just try to slow down enough so that it doesn't scrape too hard. I have to enter and exit my driveway at a very steep angle. I replaced the front splitter on my 13 GS at 30,000 miles. I sanded down the cheese grater marks on the original and hung it up in the garage until I get to 60,000 and swap it back on.

Yep. Roads in some parts of the USA are worse than others. I've found mountainous areas to be a problem.

This ^^^
I have speed bumps on every street in my neighborhood (25MPH) - I slow down as I approach and turn the wheel slightly to the right (away from any traffic) and straighten back out as soon as my front wheels hit the other side. Worked when I had my C5, works just as well with my C6. Both cars were stock height - probably won't work as well for you guys that lower your cars.

.

Some info to the OP. No matter what you decide DO NOT purchase anything from Corvette Mods or your next thread will be, "I got screwed by Corvette Mods". Do a forum search on Corvettemods and see for yourself.
