Wife went into labor...
Water broke and she's in labor. Almost drove her to the hospital in the 2012 Grandsport. Decided against it cause I just had her detailed. (The car, not the wife!) Of course this is gonna delay my headers, cam, and dyno tune plan for a few months now =(

First off Congrats on the baby.
You wait, next it will be ..."Honey, I think we should get rid of the 2012 GrandSport for a Mini-Van"
Don't get me wrong, kids are great, I love all mine (5) and wouldn't change a thing in what we did raising them or what I gave up, but to keep it real, kids change things and hobbies, toys, other interests all kind of take a back seat until they were older. Of course now that mine are older (youngest is 13, oldest is 22) I pretty much have all the toys, tools, garages and freedom I want.
It worked out really well, but there was a time when the kids were first born and especially in the toddler stage where I thought holy crap, my entire world revolves around my work / wife / kids and there is no time for me. It still does to some extent, but now I get to add plenty of "me time" to the mix.
I'm now to the point where I can't wait to have grand kids.... I can spoil the crap out of them and send then on their way.

Mom and baby are fine. We made it home today. The first thing I did with my daughter is sit and watch some car shows where I explained to her how the LS3 was better than the Coyote engine. She cooed in agreement and the father/daughter bond was solidified.

I don't know why you couldn't have taken her in the GS?
She could have sat on the "For Sale" sign.
Congrats!
