Too ricey for my tastes, but I do like the look on your Silver Vette.

They actually remind me more of the C7 GS/ZO6 look. Not the shape obviously, but the lens color treatment.

Thank you! The lens feels very high quality on these, much better than OEM. Personally I don’t get the “ricey” statements I have read... The C7 Z06 has a very similar look to it’s tail lights....in my opinion, the new tail lights update the rear of the C6. Which again, in my opinion is one of the only details of the C6 that could use a little update ( besides the interior ).
But we are fortunate enough to have more than one option, so hopefully there is something for everyone!
Thanks for commenting on my photo!!!

After my seeing them at night, I would imagine tinting them would be no problem. These tail lights are very bright. Light output is very very good!

Sorry for the "ricey" comment, fellas. Did not mean to detract from your excitement with the new tails. They're not my flavor exactly, but they're a cool upgrade over stock, for sure. I'd love to see a set that's been tinted or blacked out.

(Frankly, some may think my clear side markers or Morimoto headlights are 'ricey'.)

They are definitely much brighter than stock and should not be an issue blacking them out.

The more I look at them the more I can appreciate the direction Morimoto went with them. Like the headlights, they seemed to try and capture the C7 ZO6 feel and I think they nailed it. Some vendors are labeling them 'Ferrari Style' but I'm not sure. I think they're unique and capture the upgrades C7 styling cues all within a round taillight. Best of both worlds.

Did they resolve the issue where the brake lights had a substantial delay from the time you depressed the brakes to when the lights actually lit up?

Not a fan of how they look in stock form, but I bet they could look great blacked out. Any night pics showing the brakes pressed and then some with just the parking lights on?

Boy those tail lights looks awesome. I have my Morimoto "headlights" and they are very good quality and I love them. Now, you guys tempted me of getting the tail lights also.

Umnitza tail lights off

Umnitza tail lights on, brakes not applied

Here is a pic of my Vette Lights - non-tinted Eagle Eye lights with new 3M Double sided tape on the resistor packs and rubber seals installed around the outer ring of the lights.

Back side of Eagle Eye lights.

Umnitza tail lights on, brakes not applied

OEM on left vs Eagle Eyes installed on right.
Received my set direct from Umnitza Friday and installed them removing my eagle eyes.
Recieved a lot of positive remarks at the car show Saturday. Wasn’t exactly sure I liked the white lens look while off, but now I do after looking at them all day Saturday next to a C7 Z06. Sort of reminds me of haloswhen off. BRIGHT....yes they are.

I’ll be selling my non tinted Eagle Eye tail Iighrs that I just purchased in June.

From what I understand they fixed it by removing the sequential turn signal feature.

Those look great on silver but I’m thinking the darker the color the look is going to be distracting.

For you guys that have these tails, is the center section, where the reflector is, recessed in relation to the lighted circle portion of the lens? If so, how deep is the recessed area?

Well...from the outer ring to the recessed center of the lens cover is about 1/2". However, the red center reflector sits about another 3/4"-1" further recessed inside/behind the transparent outer lens cover so the actual depth between the outer ring and center red reflector is about 1 1/2".

In my opinion, they look awesome!
