Default **WARNING** 2005-2013 C6 Corvette Morimoto XB LED Tail Lights

I just received a set of the new Morimoto XB LED Tail Lights. They look great!!

IF YOU WERE BUYING THEM FOR THE SEQUENTIAL TURN LIGHTS

THEY DON'T ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

In the instructions they show how to set the taillights up for SEQUENTIAL but the required wiring is not on the taillights I received.

I was told that within the last few days, the supplier began telling resellers that sequential is being left out of the taillights without any notification!! A whole lot of lights were shipped to buyers expecting sequential taillights!!!

I believe they had to remove the sequential functionality to eliminate the delay from the time you depressed the brakes to when the tails lit up. Just wanted to let you know there was at least a reason for this.

$350.00. My email confirmation states that they are sequencial.

Kind of disappointing that I was never contacted to let me know that they are not going to be sequential.

I have a set as well. If you leave unplugged the blink fast, but not sequential. I just leave them plugged so my headlights work normal.

I thought they were red around the ring, not white. I preordered these, should be coming with my headlights soon and doubt I will install. Don't care about sequential really, but I don't like the white. Anyone interested in them pm me.... actually ordered to get in on the group buy, not even sure I want to mess with the headlights either.

Have you thought about having them tinted red? I might go that route

Hadn't thought about it really.... black tint would look ok if the lights are bright enough to shine through. white doesn't work for me though, my z is grey

Watched some youtube videos on this product, the results are kind of amazing. It also comes in smoked color.

Pretty sure the original pics were red, not white. I am not a fan of the white at all, my car is silver. Point is if they aren't as advertised, I would prefer to not get them. I have these on order with the headlights.

The black acrylic covers work fine with these tails if looking to blackout.

Are they offering a discount? If you are paying for a product and it doesn't function or look as advertised I would think you would be offered to cancel the order or maybe accept the order at a discount.
