Default LS3 AC Delco Oil Filter?

At the risk of being told "Do a Search" (I did) can someone give me the part number for a AC Delco oil filter for a 2012 LS3 please? My wife's C6 is due, and all the local store carries is Fram, and I'm not a fan or those. I need to order some from Amazon...

Thanks!

If someone in town has Wix brand filters, they are the official filter of NASCAR. Very good filters and made in the USA.

The original filter for our cars was the pf48 but has been discontinued. The pf48e is a cheesy replacement with an internal plastic cage. They are known to fail.
I DONOT recommend buying a pf48e! GM has a upf 48 that is a good filter(I believe they called it an ultraguard). The k&n is a nice filter. I have not tried wix?

This is the best choice.

I'm not a fan of el-cheapo retail Fram filters either but recently bought 4 of these at Wal-Mart since they were deeply marked down and a lot cheaper than their bottom of the line filters. They must have been slow movers so they marked them down to get rid of them. I've watched several videos comparing the top rated filters and these were as good as any of the highly rated filters as far as construction, design, filtration medium, silicone seals, coil springs for the bypass and anti drain back valves, the gauge of the metal in the cans and the total weight of the filter assembly.

Nope, still not a fan of the low priced cardboard end cap Fram filters. When their best quality filters that are built with the same design and features of the high end filters and are marked down to 1/3 of their normal cost I'm interested.

Mobil 1 M1-113 or K&N HP1017. ~$10 at Walmart, I wouldn’t cheap out on the oil filter personally.

Okay, I re-read your post and realize that you did not buy the cheap ones. I haven't used Frams since probably the early '70s, and didn't realize they offered different quality filters nowadays. I don't think they used to.

FWIW: I use K&N on the Vette,
I get them from Amazon. I get them from Amazon.
I love the big nut on the bottom, and they are supposed to be good filters to boot.
