Default Widebody questions

I have a 2010 base model. What’s the most cost efficient route to put on wide rear quarter panels and I want ZR1 extended side skirts. I don’t want to change the front fenders but I will be putting a z06/ZR1/Grandsport front bumper cover on bc I want the hood scoop. Anyone else done anything like this ??!! Any vendors willing to make a good deal ??

I think the hood scoop is part of the wider front bumper which requires wide front fenders to fit correctly...

I have the rears fender flairs only, ZR1/GS side skirts. Also using a Lingerfelter Twin Turbo hood.
Front bumper cover would be aftermarket for the front bumper cover scoop.

Front base fenders will not work with Z06/GS front cover, unless you use fiberglass after market. Z06 is wider than base. Sourcing the rear quarters is easy, use GM.

I know most people get an aftermarket fiberglass but I think my body guy can get a factory GS/Z06 bumper cover to look good enough Find a chin splitter and extended side skirts with oem or fiberglass hips It’s way more race car than show car

I think that you should sell it and get a wide body car but that's just my opinion.

You don't have your profile filled out, which helps recommend vendors for you.

Having said that, I would call Xplosive Performance (they are a vendor on this forum i believe), and they should be able to give you some recommendations. I've seen "race ready" setups in their shop, similar to what you are asking about.

And you'll spend more in mods and labor to make a wide front bumper cover fit narrow fenders than you would just buying the proper widebody front fenders.

All for the naca duct? Just buy a naca duct and have it molded in. would be cheaper than trying to get a widebody bumper fit narrow fenders.

Something else to consider if this is a racecar: widebody hips mean wider rear wheels and tires with a vastly different offset than the narrow front end. And if you stick to narrow front... well, it's going to handle like crap at best.

As previously stated the GS/Z06/ZR1 front bumper doesn't fit with narrow fenders and the undertray cover and fender liners are different. Duraflex makes a base front bumper with the scoop in the nose and the fit and finish on it is nothing short of atrocious, speaking firsthand. I had mine sent back and just opted for OEM front nose and GS front fenders as they are the cheapest of the three. Direct bolt on and no headaches.

ill just look for a naca duct to buy. I’m stuck on 15’s and drag radials full time My cat with a 4.75” pulley made 815 to the tire in a Loaded mustang dyno and we’re going to a 3.90” pulley this week.

You can buy a z06 style front bumper for base front fenders. OEM panels always fit better. I sourced my entire front Z06 clip for a great deal on Corvette Facebook Group for selling parts. Rear panels are everywhere.
This forum always has a few laying around, eBay, or brand new. Good Luck
