Yup ... As the C6 gets older and older, the overall price gets lower and lower ... and it seems the posts here get sillier and sillier !

I took delivery of my 2008 vert on November 17, 2007. I currently have 130K on it. I worked for GM at the time and got the employee discount. I don't think I will get rid of it until it stops working or I do. I have been posting on the Forum since I got a used 02 C5 in 2004.

Yep, still here. Bought the 427 vert new in July '13 to keep the C5 company in the barn. C7 joined the group a year and a half later.

So . . . . how many original C6 owners still hanging around here ?
Still own my '09 convertible. It had 3 miles on it when I bought it--just turned 18,000. This is my 4th Corvette--love the C6.

Still have my 2008.....watched it being built 11 years ago...still impressed with it. No C7 for me....not enough room and not comfortable. Unless the new C8 is roomy enough for us tall guys, the 2008 will be hanging out in my garage for another 10 years!

Awesome--love the white. I wanted a white convertible when I got my Blade Silver '09, but I got a great deal on it. That's cool you got to see it being built.

That is really a great looking car. For whatever reason I think convertibles look less dated than some coupes.

I am working on my third C6. The latest being a '12 ZR1 Black/Black. Minimal problems with any of them. Just a lot of tires. LOL.The ZR! is my twenty first lifetime Vette. I thought about adding a C7. But, they just never rung my bell. Too many tacky add ons. Too much hi tech to have to rely on. Maybe a C8 in my future. But, won t be giving up the ZR1.

My youngest daughter and I flew to Connecticut to buy the 05 because I couldn’t find one local without paying way over sticker. She gets it when I’m done with it.

Bought my 13 GS new from Mike at Criswell. it was one of the last C6’s built (Feb 2013) so it’s one of the best. Zero issues in 5 1/2 years of ownership. I plan to keep it forever and have zero desire to ever own a C7.

I'm still here! I bought my 2006 triple black roadster new on July 7 2006. The C7 never really turned me on. I'm waiting on the ME C8.

Still here since I bought my 07' new. I have no desire to go to a C7. Not in the cards for me.

Two thing that keep me from getting a C-7, my '12 has been paid for for a couple of years and I'm getting closer to retirement.

Me! but i am waiting for the inevitable harmonic balance issue and every so often the
notorious "stuck in park" issue BUT after reading C7 issues not so much

A mixed bag follows. No, I don’t still have a C6 so strictly speaking, I’m not legal for this thread. But my 2005 C6 was the last of my 3 Vettes, traded at 65,000 miles in 2010 for my current 2011 CTSV coupe. The way I see it, the CTSV is a Vette powertrain in a somewhat less intense chassis. My wife would call it less obnoxious but still pretty uncivilized. Anyway, regardless of how you view the CTSV, I keep up with both C6 and C7 forums because they are among the best car forums, and who knows, I might someday get back into a Vette if they’d go back to styling as classy as the C6. Sorry C7 fans, while I like that version mechanically, I don’t care for its appearance.

Original 2008 C6, which I purchased in December of 2007 still in garage, and I just posted.

Granted I am not on the Forum as often anymore just because I am not on the puter as much.

Trying to break the habit of social media dependence.

Default C6 owners

Got our 2011 GS IOM coupe in Jan. '12 at Harbour Chevy in Michigan City, IN. She was a hold over with fifty miles. Love the car. A few hiccups along the way. Car- deer two years ago. Transmission cooler detonated in radiator end of June. With the new radiator and transmission, plus other SOP parts, she's practically a new car! 60,000 on the clock. Heading to Road Atlanta in October for Petit LeMans. Zoom, zoom!!
