'08 ordered in Sept '07, took delivery in Nov '07. I'm forced to keep it, since I don't want to offend the gift giver. Currently at 154K miles, a 47 state road warrior, and part-time drag racer. Oh, did I mention it was a retirement gift to myself?

You guys notice there are more 2008 original owners that posted in this thread than any other year? I too am the original owner of an '08 I sat down with the brochure and ordered. Still have it along with a 1974 I also sat down with the brochure and ordered. They get along with each other very well. 80K on the '74 and 16K on the '08. I too have no desire to own a C7. Same reasons as the other posters here.

Yes, no, and yes.

Still have the '05 (247,000 mi.). Don't have the '09 (70,000 mi.) Have a C7 (97,000 mi.).

Original owners of all the above.

I'm not the original owner of my '08, but I'm beginning to reach the conclusion that it provides me with everything I need (great performance, looks, not too much cash tied up) and unless the C8 offers a manual (unlikely) my C6 will be mine until I can write a check for a high end Porsche. And that's not going to happen very soon!

I still have my 13 Grand Sport Manual Tranny. If I decide to buy a C7 I will still keep my 13 Grand Sport and my 03 ZO6, my C4 Ruby LT1 ZO7 Manual Tranny which I have had since brand new. Of course I will keep my 89 Autocross car which I am not the original owner.

I'm an original owner of this 2010 convertible, and I will be until the C8 convertible is available.

I'm the original owner of my 2008 C6, which I ordered in summer of 2007. It was my first & only Corvette.

I had it sold a few years ago - but I had second thoughts & kept it. I'm glad I did. I may never sell it.

Definitely a cool pic. Just curious if that area to the right of the bridge is a landslide covering the road?

Have two of the C6s -- both Grand Sports M6 -- I will keep them since they are the LAST of the REAL Corvettes.

I don't post much but I do read other's posts quite regularly. My 2013 3LT was the last base convertible made (Feb. 2013). When I took museum delivery I was not allowed the assembly plant tour because they were in model changeover for the C-7. Not a daily driver, I have 3,800 miles on it now. It is used for special occasions and I redline it about every third outing to keep the engine spry. It feels faster to me as each year goes by.

Still got mine, no desire to move to a C7. Why would I want to go slow again?

I got my 06 with 1300 miles for all intents and purposes Im the first owner. Mine was used as a demo...Im here since 2008 . I dont post friviously but with the prices coming down the younger generation can afford them now I too have noticed a difference in the posts. Thats good for our hobby because it passes it down.
