I've seen a number of horror stories, some on Youtube videos, from using fly-by-night carriers. Pay the extra money and go with a nationally known carrier.

Best and cheap cannot be used in the same sentence. I recommend Reliable.

I used Thomas Sunday (can google the company) at the recommendation of the dealer I purchased from. Very good email and phone communication. Driver seemed very capable during delivery. Little less than $1000.00
from Michigan to coastal Maryland (6-700 miles). I would use them again.

I know it's tempting but don't go with a broker. They'll post the job to the lowest bidder.
Go with a reputable company that has its own fleet and drivers.

I used Tri, he did awesome. I'll use him from now on. Great price, on time, and takes great care of your car.

I actually had a good experience going through a broker, but I would not do it again. I sought out a transporter with the highest reviews. Once I had everything set up, they sent me an email stating the carrier who had been assigned my job. Until this point I did not know I had been dealing with a broker. I started asking questions about who handled damage claims, and I'll just leave it at I'm so glad I did not have to go through that process. Broker + carrier = too many parties to deny responsibility.

Assuming you are having the car shipped to you. I would recommend having the transporter send photos of any and all damage at pick up.

My seller posted an offer ad on www.centraldispatch.com

You get to read their reviews and question the actual company and drivers before
accepting their service

Anyway I had a good experience using centraldispatch.....

Open Transport from Ft Worth TX to Seattle in spring of 2018 for $1000
